ASSOCIATE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNOLOGY

The Associate in Aircraft Maintenance Technology is a two-year college program designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge, technical skills, and practical competencies needed in the field of aircraft maintenance. Through classroom instruction, laboratory activities, and hands-on training, students are introduced to aircraft structures, systems, powerplants, electrical components, maintenance procedures, tools, and aviation safety practices.

The program emphasizes precision, safety, critical thinking, problem-solving, and proper maintenance procedures in accordance with industry standards. Students gain practical experience through skills training, laboratory exercises, and activities that simulate real-world aircraft maintenance environments, helping them develop the confidence and technical competence required in the aviation industry

Upon completion, graduates may pursue employment opportunities in aircraft maintenance and related aviation fields, obtain relevant certifications and specialized training, or continue their education through a ladderized bachelor’s degree program.
